New and improved facilities are available to the public to rent at our 2,070-acre Rush Ranch site on Grizzly Island Road. A meeting room with partial kitchen, folding tables and chairs for up to 80 persons in the new Nature Center looks out on grassy hills, horse paddocks, eucalyptus groves and the beautiful Suisun Marsh. It rents for $300 per day for private and business users, less for nonprofits. A 13,750 square-foot outdoor picnic area can also be rented for dining, classes, overnight camping and meetings. This large shaded area behind the historic barn includes twelve moveable wooden picnic tables with attached benches, large masonry barbecue, fire pit and 400 square-foot covered shelter, and rents for $50 to $100 per day or night. A new, fully furnished two bedroom guest quarters can also be rented for $150 per night, when not in use by scientists and researchers working at the marsh.
